I feel like an idiot... I acquired an arowana from a guy who had to get rid of it (moving) before my big tank was ready for him. So I've stored him in a giant tupperware for 3 days so far.

His barbels are badly bruised up and curled back... to the point that the top tip of his mouth where they attatch is pink and swolen.

What shoud I do... again I feel like an idiot for now putting black background against the sides... or even keeping him in a 2-ish foot container for so long =(

put him in your tank

Yeah I am trying to buy the tank still XD If anyone has leads for Toronto let me know.

I'm really fed up with people responding to my classified inquiries WITHOUT giving me their phone number. It wastes so much of my time.... I swear I've asked some people for their phone number 3 times and they ignore it in my response.

I don't understand how somebody can try to sell something while ignoring your requests for a phone number. omg.

If you didnt have a tank at all, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU GET THE FISH GENIUS. I dont understand the concept of getting a fish when you dont even have a tank LOL. This is what happens when you're greedy... My advice to you now, take the aro and give it away, or give it to big als, at this rate, you'll just kill it before you even get to see a tank, OR you can just go to big als and buy a new one like RIGHT NOW and get a filter and ask them if you can purchase some of their biomedia that they're currently using...

Yes you're right, i was greedy and irresponsible, somebody I knew was moving and had to get rid of it. I just got a response about a tank for tomorrow... will jump on it.

Even if you have a tank, you still have the problem of cycling it...unless you get a used filter with used media with it, it''ll be a whole lot of trouble

No no that's not a problem, I have had AC 70 running since early July with 3 sponges in it. That should do for now.
