I have two large silvers. I was wondering if a lima shovelnose cat would be a good tankmate?

how large are the silvers and what size lima do you want?

Lima is about 6 inches in a seperate tank right now. The aro's are about 28 and 30 inches right now. If it would work, what size would be best?

the lima sounds a little small to go in with those if im truthful, theyre not the fastest growers in the world tho IMO maybe a TSN would be better?

If they act anything like my two 28-30" silver arowana, they won't even know the shovelnose is there.

Got any pics of your arowana/setup?

I am 100% sure anything below 6 inch your arowana would be thinking hmmmmm my owner sure is nice feeding me with that

Then you would be wrong, I keep/kept many fish under 6" with my prementioned arowana.

Ill wait until it gets to be a foot. But I have new ? My aros have been jumping very often lately. Its been making me nervous lately since they could easily break the tnk at that size. Other than spooking the anything else that makes them jump? The tank is 200 gallons. I know its too smal but when i bought them the pet store said it would be enough. So until I can get a bigger one it will have to do

Probably just getting too crowded for them. I saw a big difference in my two silvers behavior once they were moved from a 180g to there current home. Hopefully your aros won't hurt or kill themselves until you get them in an appropriate sized tank. In the mean time adding any more tank mates probably wouldn't be such a good idea.
