Arowana diet :)

I understand that arowana posts should be ing the Arowana forum but all fish keepers should hear this achievement. I have a 16" arowana and when I threw in some vegetable rounds in for my pleco, the aro ate them all. Now every day he eats about 4 of the rounds. Considering Arowana's are carnivors I was and still am pretty damn proud of myself.

mine eats carrots when i feed the pacus. he likes celarie and other chopped veggies too. he also likes algae pellets. i dont think its uncommon for arowanas to eat things other than meat and pellets honestly.

my large aro has taken small chunks of watermelon and cucumber that the plecos usually gnaw on. always great to have a such a variety in their diet. in my avatar he is trying out a big chunk of watermelon.
