Hi, my first post here but maybe not the last :)

I have a question if someone can tell me what is so special with these species I found on a Colombian exporters stocklist.

OSTEOGLOSSUM FERREIRAI SP, Arowana Dossantos IV

OSTEOGLOSSUM DOSSANTOS I, Glistening Fish, Whitish-Angel Arowana-Fire Eyes

The prices are huge so something must be special ;)

No pics, thats why I ask :) they want between U$ 1.000,00-1.500,00 for 5-15 cm size so they must be something really special.

i check on web n OSTEOGLOSSUM FERREIRAI SP, Arowana Dossantos IV it is black arowana but is cheap about 149 for 10+"
 
They offer small Osteoglossum ferreirai at the same size 5-15 cm for U$ 12-50 so it can't be the same as Osteoglossum ferreirai Arowana Dossantos IV and Osteoglossum ferreirai Glistening Fish, Whitish-Angel Arowana-Fire Eyes that the same exporter want's U$ 1.000-1.500 for the same size... someting must be different I think :)

They are probably Osteoglossum ripoffiensis (translation= rip off/scam) in my opinion, but I have been proven wrong before.
