how do I train my silver arowana to be more brave, it get scare really easy, every time i walk toward the tank too fast its freak out and start running, bang its head against the glass and hurt itself many times

im not sure if you guys have black water over there but you could try using that to cal mtis behaviour and leave the lights 24/7,if its in a new environment its common,so not to worry, sooner or later it will calm by itself

I would drop the water level to about 3/4 height and introduce some floating vegetation and some "stupid" dither fish. You dont mention how large the Silver Aro is or tank size or how long you have kept it so I can only give general suggestions.

The floating vegetation allows a sense of cover/security and tells it where the water level is which reduces the jumps and may protect if you use something dense. The dithers arent shy and will encourage the fish to settle down as they go about their life unaffected or frightened.

If there is a door or much walkby traffic near one side I would cover that end with some backing or black plastic. Just like blinkers on a horse. Covering ends may also help it to recognise & remember where the tank ends. If you have the space, a 3 foot wide tank gives a better sense of security since the fish can actually get away from the front if it wants to.

take it out to the movies lol J/K :)

it will evetually get use to you.
patience is the key grasshopper...
black water is good to calm them down too.
how long have you had it bud?

its in a 75gal tank with black background and the sides are also black, not using any lighting yet

the lighting will really help, that could be the problem alone, they freak out in the dark. Just spend a LOT of time with him, put his tank where he'll see you a lot, interact with him, hand feed if you're brave, take time and patience , lots of time, he'll come around.
