Very interesting video, but not sure if I would risk giving my aro something so big to eat. I thought giant centipeds could sting?
 
Oh yeah, they sting!!!!! Very poisonous if they inject their venom.
 
i think in this video at least, they pulled out the centipede's fangs already so it can't harm the aro

Nope, they didn't pull the stinger... Aro is bone tongue, and cover in scale. Besides, they're immune to the venom... Just like chicken is the worst enemy of centipede... Anyway, feeding centipede to arowana is a common practice... Best protein source, which improve the color in arowana.
 
o koo, nice to know, does any aro in their natural habitats eat centipedes as a source of food?
 
I always though that these things are poisoness, not sure I'd give them to my fish. I've always wondered about spiders though, but never have chanced it.
