My roomate had a albino frog in a 10 gallon tank and asked if he could put it in my aro tank because it was getting to big for the 10g. My aro is only 7in and the frog was 4in or more. So I told him should be ok until the aro gets bigger the frog may become dinner. He feed the frog wardley reptile/amphibian sticks among other things.

Come to find out the aro loves these things he just started eating them up. I have tried for months to get my aro to take pellets. He refused all the differnt types and brands I have tried made for fish. Anyone have any idea if these could be bad or good for him? They float and are mostly fish, chicken and corn meal 40% protein 6% fat

I think the Aro should be fine. I have 3 african clawed frogs. (One mating pair and one small one) I have come to find that my fish (mostly my oscar) love ReptoMin pellets. Most pellets (fish or not) Have similar compositions. All my fish pellets have fish meal and shrimp meal in them. So does ReptoMin.

If they are good for aro's might be a good option for people having trouble getting their aro onto pellet food. just a thought

my silver used to lap up turtle pellets, but i never actually intend to feed them him, he just stole em from the turtle back when they where tanked together... although my silver eats and has always eaten any pellet i put in the tank, if it sinks, he grabs a mouth full on the way down... if it floats he out eats the oscars on it....:D
