I recently had to transfer my 1.5ft Silver Aro, into a different tank, as the original tank had a big leak. It's now been in a 5ft tank for approx 6 days, but she hasn't been eating since, is there any chance you could tell if my arowana has been eating by looking at the stomach or something?

How long would she last WITHOUT eating? I really don't want anything wrong with her :(

Thanks

This is normal don't panic!
When Arowanas are moved to new enviroments they will tend to stay off food for some times up to a couple weeks.
You just need to monitor them and take out any uneaten food.
Don't go crazy and start doing water changes like a nut.
This will stress them out further.

Thanks for the replies...

she is very picky on food, and the only things she would touch is 2 different types of Frozen fishes in packets and SOMETIMES on occasions she would eat prawns. I've tried different types of pellets, like Hikari and Sera, but she doesnt even look at them.

I tried feeding her prawns the other day, she ate one, and then she didnt eat anything again. Should i be worried, or is she still adjusting to the tank?

Also, she is Very Skittish AT times, is still still because of the move?

before she was moved, she used to eat out of my hands ALL the time, until now, and i WISHED i did not go for a cheaper tank option in the first place, then none of this would have happened.

MAKE SURE WATER IS PERFECT.
My black used to be very sensitive to minimal change and got real skiddish.
I would offer different foods every other day until you get em back on a regular feeding schedule.
And be sure to remove any uneaten food.

It takes time to train the arowana to eat pellets, but it'll get used to it if you always offer her with pellets, because they tend to swallow it at first but spit it again and again and again, but when they got used to it then, it's like a dream come true :D.Also, don't panic because whenever a fish gets into a new environment, it usually doesn't eat for 2-3 days(my experience so peace :)).
