I have a roughly 10" Silver Arowana in a temporary home of 66.5(4'by16") hes been moved around a couple times lately due to a move and a sudden tank leak. Lately he's been freaking out a lot, even biting his own tail and swimming around in circles very much like a dog would....Has anyone else ever had an Aro do that? Ill try to get a video of some of his erratic behavior but atm he is behaving normally and cruising the tank.

Are there any fish in the tank with him? Is his tank in a high traffic area of your house? Being in such a small tank he is a bit stressed and therefore "jumpy". If many people pass his tank it would just make it worse. I video would be a big plus. I would turn of the tank lights and put a towel over his tank and get working of fixing his tank!:)

no tank is not in a high traffic area, all my tanks are in my bedroom atm, he is the biggest in the tank, he was housed with 2 small Retic rays prior to the leak, now is with a couple Raphael catfish, a pleco and 2 small sengel bichirs....as for his housing situation, I will eventually fix that tank, but the Aro and rays are going in my new 4" 125 as soon as I figure out where the hell I'm going to put it, and bribe people to come move it with me....

temp tank and leaking tank are the same size, both 4'x16", 66.5 gallons, he was temporarily in a 28 gallon(for about a day) but I've since got rid of my Red Devil, and moved the piranha into the 80 gallon, so now he is in the 66....this morning he seems to be doing a lot better so far
