I was wondering how can you tell between a Male and Female Arowana and can someone please post pics of a male and female so I can see the diference... Ty for your time Your help will be apreciated
from the pic i can tell its a female asian aro.As the body is broad and the head is more compact in size.(meaning the head looks broader but shorter)
for a male arowana the head is longer and more expanded when compared with the body.
so by calculatin the "LH" times "HH",the value of them is smaller than the approximate volume of "WH",den its a female.if "LH" and "HH" times together the value is bigger, its a male.
(This can only apply to mature arowanas age above 2 years at least)
try posting some pics to check your aro gender.i dunno how to tell silver arows though.
