Hi,

I happened to be visiting a local fish store in Vegas (thanks to Asian_Fish_Master for recommendation) and came upon this moment which I had to capture. Generally cruizing around the satore, came upon the tank with 5 small silver arowanas and one baracudda; soon realized one of the Aros was stuck to the pump; almost wrapped around it and being sucked in. I called upon the store guy to free it; which he did instantly; when it was pulled away from from the pump; the Aro took a few large gasps; the pressure of the pump has twisted its body to the point it could not swim straight anymore. Don't know for how long it was stuck this way.

Within 30 secs we realized the aro needed attention; store person isolated him to a holding tank and added salt.

We then walked about admiring other monsters and came upon a large red tail catfish. General talk with the store guy arounf the RTC, when the owner announced the Aro did not survive and decided to feed the RTC; why waste right .. so minutes after it's death; it became a yummy diet for the RTC. Check out the vid.

i know why waste... but still dont feel right about this vid... mayb its i lov tiz fishes too much... :(

Nothing wrong with this at all IMO. They tried to save the Arow, but it was too far gone and the RTC got a fresh treat out of the deal.

lol .. I stand corrected BlackShark11K .. :)

Agree .. why waste it.

lol it works both ways because i am asian haha. and cool vid their fai, ive seen them do this all the time, i remember they got in a batch of Armatus and some were DOA so they fed them to the turtles

That was an expensive snack... The thing I'd be scared about is usually the fish sucked in by the filter are sickly to begin with. I wouldn't want to feed a sick fish to my prized rtc, but thats just me.
