Ok, I have a 20 (mabye 22) inch silver arowana. hes about a year and a half old. I got him at about 3 inches. is it just normal for growth to slow down a bit at this age, cause he hasnt gotten really big yet. hes quite long, but doesnt have that immense mass that I see on a lot of arowanas here. is that normal? I feed hikari floating carnivore pellets, with occasional supplaments of shrimp, silversides (frozen,) and sometimes crickets. I do not feed feeder fish. He is big, but not really wide and deep like a lot of peoples fish. He behaves completely normally, and has no tankmates at all. tank is 220 gallons. Has his growth just slowed down a bit by this age?

Can we get a pix?

Sounds normal. Width and thickness might be more a factor of genetics than anything else...
