The silver arowana in my tank hasn't eaten in 3 weeks. Nothing else in my tank is having that problem. Only other problem in my tank is the bump on my peacock bass lip. Just put a power head 1300 on the tank which is a 180 filtered by an aquaclear 500 eheim 2215 and marine land 360. The Aro usually is my best eater, ate beef heart, worms, shrimp, tilapia. Now it just won't eat anything and swims a little crooked, and exhibiting other stressed behavior. Frequent water changes with salt were done.

Try a cricket, I found giving one live cricket makes my aro eat anything after tht.

Is the only thing the arowana eats is shrimp? Don't get to worried silver aros are known for going on hunger strikes, sometimes lasting up to a couple months.

Mine is going on over a month now. It will eat pellets, then spit them out. I have tried live feeders, but all the other fish in the tank get them first because they are more aggressive. Not sure what else to do. Maybe crickets will be next. If he gets hungry enough, at some point won't he just swallow the pellets?

Mine doesn't eat feeders, was always to slow and beat put by the bass. I will try to feed at night today. Interesting idea with the cricket, may try that too. He used to be my best eater, ate tilapia shrimp beef heart worms.
