I bought a 6-7 inch Silver Arowana for 60 Yuan about 2 months ago. Which is like less then $10. When I bought him he was in a small tank with a large flowerhorn and JDs. So he was a obviously chewed on when I got him, but he is doing fine. Actually he has grown a good bit and eats like a pig. I was just wondering how long will it take for him to grow his chunks out of his fins back. Though the tattered look does give him some character I think.

Its actually more quicker if u separate the flowerhorn from the arowana..
It heals faster.. thats what happen to my own arow... he was chew up by an oscar and then a pack of flowerhorns.. he's doing fine now since he's the only big fish in the tank.... his damages fins are all healed up in 1 week..
