john.. hi.. where from in india.. how big are the aros first? What have you been feeding earlier? only adult aros can go for long periods without food.. and adult aros are harder to train onto pellets but it is not impossible.. if your aros are small, try to introduce pellets gradually.. dont make it an abrupt change and starve them.. what pellets are you trying? all my aros eat hikari tropical fish sticks.. they are pretty good.. you can buy it direct from the india distributor.. their website address is http://www.indusmarketing.in/ .. all the best cheers..

my arowana is around five inches both pearl and silver they are eating and spliting it out so what should i do to make them grow healthy and fat and with good colour pls tell me and can anybody telll me any indian distributors so i can buy fish from them......

john.. a varied diet is the best.. what pellets are you feeding? are they pellets for carnivorous fish? you can feed shrimp, tilapia, crickets etc also.. when aros generally take pellets and spit out the think it is food and are trying it.. so dont worry they will start eating.. what sort of fish are you looking for.. this is a list of importers across the world.. there is a list of indian importers / exporters.. check it out.. but these guys never respond even when i've called them.. best is to check with your local lfs and ask him to get the fish you want..

Go with the Harkari pellets all my arowanas have taken them but the do not take the others. I use the carnavior sticks. my have always taken themafter a few days no problem. I also supplament with crickets, junebugs(beetles) and frozen mice as they get bigger
