Good Day
Im asking for a friend he would like to keep a arowana possibly alone in a 180 gallon tank with 2 large canister filters so now the question is 1. how long can a silver arowana live in a 180 before a upgrade is needed.
2. what arowana can live in the tank for life?

If the Silver Arowana is young I would say possibly 2 yrs depending on growth. You will get conflicting answers but I say because of the size of most Arowana species non should be kept in a 180 gallon for life imo.

They can hit 30in if kept long enough so I’d say no to the 180.
