AROWANA - HOW TO MAKE IT BIG ????

i will be getting a 6" silver arowana this evening to a 100 litre tank......
this is the first time i m buying one ...............
can i noe wot are the foods excellent for making it grow big in about 3 months ??????
wot are the other tankmates i can buy for his company ??????
wot r the other factors that determine the growth rate of the arowana ?????
kindly advice me ........

1''-2'' a month seams like a average growth rate for a small arow.

A bigger tank will be a good start. Sure, the arowana will grow in the 100L, but if you have more space, I'm sure you'll see better results.

Regular water changes also help the fish to grow faster. These changes are especially important if you're going to be feeding high-protein foods, like haynchinook334 suggested.
