hii today i shifted my silver arowana 11" into my pond 16'3'3' but here the probelm
compatibility
8" pacu
8" oscar
7" oscar 5
13" albino catfish
4 4" RD
4"-5" 4FH
3" 4 Jaguar

water level is up to the top

so in case of it to jump i am planning to put some cover at night but keep it fully open in day time

have your comments

sounds good except the whole jumping

I would keep it fully covered unless you're actually watching the fish. The chances it will jump during the day are just as good as it jumping out at night if you're not watching!

how much time will it take to accustom it to its new enviournment
i wanted to keep it coverd in night i too will b e sleeping:naughty:

It shouldn't take long for him to settle in -- you're just moving him from a tank to the pond, right? So, not even as bad as buying a fish at the fish store and then taking them all the way home!

And, yes, you don't want any flying fish ruining your rest! Haha there was a story on here somewhere about a guy who woke up in bed next to his wriggling Oscar which had jumped out of the tank! I think I would fall out of the bed if that happened to me!

it has been 34 hours and every thing is fine

Outside pond? I would cover it with some net so birds don't try at any of the fish. Your stocking list is fine. How many heaters are you using to keep that pond warm?

I don't think a bird is gonna carry away a massive pacu or aro.

Maybe a really massive bird :ROFL:JK....

They may not carry them away but they can sit on the edge of the pond and pick at them. Happened to my old koi pond, that had some very large Koi in it
