Is it okay to put my arowanas in rubbermaid after it has over grown my 4ft by 1.8 tank? What's the height must the rubbermaids be and how high must the water level be for an arowana ?

agreed, if its a silver you are much better off building a pond for him.

what if i can get a custom made rubbermaid.... how high must i get, length and so on

You'd be looking at maybe 8 or 9' in diameter but you could probably do with 2' height, of course higher is better. I don't think it's possible for a custom rubbermaid as they would have to build a completely new mold for the plastic just for your order which I'm pretty sure is not practical.

You gotta build a pond. Wet dry filter systems are easy to build, and relatively inexpensive. There's excellent advice on this web sight.

You'd be better of with an above ground pool. There is the jumping issue though. Are you thinking indoors or outdoors?

Those asking OP to build a pond, its impossible. Here in SG, we live in HDB flats. High-rised apartments.
And we are not allow to build heavy things like a pond or risk getting fined or worst, the floor collapse.

Its very unlikely (not impossible) for it to come through the floor. Damage, maybe but any building built to code will not collapse. Anyways, you might me looking at rehomeing, try the above ground pond... many good ideas for pond, rubbermaid might be a good temporary option.

If pond and large tank is out of question than maybe its time to think about getting a more suitable fish. If this is a silver aro we are talking about. Are these apartments built with concrete floors?
