Test your water parameters also feeder fish should be quarantined before feeding to the Aro. Try floating Carnivore sticks instead of feeder fish.

remove any uneaten feeder fish from your tank and raise the temperature up a couple degree to see if it helps. Feed your fish again after that, also watch out for ick or white spots as well. Good luck !

Agree check your water, another thing is if he not active and float in one spot with it fins tucked in it body then you have a big problem. It probably ate so much because put a lot feeder in at one time.

try crickets. and crank up your temperature to 30-32 C.

I own 3 super red aro, and none of them refuse crickets, only 1 would hunt down feeder fish, the other 2 most of the time dont really bother... and giving feeder fish is not really recommended. the aro could break his barbel or injure himself. i quit with live fish once one of my aro drop his scale from chasing the fish. it hit the filter intake.

I'd say keep on top of water and feed crickets as I think they help with digestion in arowana

When there that young, you shouldnt be feeding them feeder fish, blood worms are probably the most nutritious thing you can feed and they love it. Fish dont need to eat everyday. I only feed my fish 2-3 times a week. In the wild where there actually burning significant calories they can go weeks without a meal. If he doesnt want to eat, do a water change and wait a couple days then try crickets as mentioned or blood worms.

I know little about aros but I do know that blood worms have little to no nutrition in them at all lol. the Hikari brand is about the most nutritious I've seen and even then I wouldn't feed as more than a treat. A feeder fish isn't much better but at least its a complete fish with bones, scales etc etc.

Crickets are far and away the best option for these fish however, then pellets.
