well it finally happened to me i always thought that it would never happen to mine but one of my silver arowanas jumped, broke my glass top hit the ground and had glass cut his eye ope and several large cuts up and down his body... happened while I was sleeping so i heard it all dashed to the tank grabed him and put him in the tank. Hes a live but barly now im in my college classes fearing the worst when i get home. Is there any way to treat a lacerated eye ill post pics of him when i get home he is about 14 inches

about an inch thick custom lid he unfortunately died this morning when i was going to upload pics of him but no need now.
he spooked again and died from slamming the top of the tank just belly sided up at first i though he just got knocked up so i moved him to a 55gallon QT tank but hour latter he was still the same so i presumed he died on impact

Sorry to hear that. How big your aro?. From my experience my arrow jump numerious time, scratch here and the but never break the glass lid. Your fish atleast 2' just my guessing.
