arowana lay eggs

anyone has this happened? my silver laid orange eggs but she was the only arowana in the tank so aftrer a couple of days she just ate the eggs, this happened a while back.
 
it happens, now and again.

At least now you know you got a girl.
 
Happens once in awhile. Congrats, she must be very happy, now you just need to find her a mate!

why did she ate the eggs?
 
she laid eggs once, but i sold her soon after that before i had to move, but i find comfort in knowing she's in good hand coz the buyer was as fish crazy as i am lolz

i don' know but i think the eggs will just rot if there's no male anwayz

She's a smart girl. She didn't let her eggs go to waste :)
 
Can you get some pics so we can compare her with others? Might help a lot in determining sex of silvers if possible.
