Aloha from Hawaii. New here and love this forum.
Anyways, i have a Silver Arowana 20". But i have noticed for about 2 - 3 weeks that its been losing color on the top. I pretty sure that's not normal. What can i do to fix this. Thanks in advance for your guys help!

Do you feed it a good quality food? My goldfish live off of veggies and their colours are amazing. While I don't know the best thing to feed arowanas I do know that good quality food will give your fish great colouration. Along with nice clean water and social interaction (<--- my opinion, I feel like fish should be treated like dogs and cats, spend time with them so they don't get lonely) your fish should be happy and beautiful. :)

Im feeding it jumbo carnisticks by hikari. For treats feeders comets or cut up shrimp. His color is a bright shinny silver almost white on his body but its only on the top that is losing color.

Welcome to MFK! Can you post a picture?

Looks OK to me. That is normal patterning, it's growing up.

The shine meaning the silver color will not go over the top on a silver arowana. Look at other pics of similar size or bigger silvers and you will see they won't have the color on top as the side scales do.
