arowana mates

hi all, is it OK to put arowanas together with KOI fish in a pond? will arowana attack the KOI? my KOIs are much much bigger than the arowana,

you should be good, seen many succesful combos and if your koi are bigger it should deffo not be a problem.

Though koi and arowana had differing water temp requirements, what is the temp of your pond? What kind and size of arowana? How much bigger are the koi, they could harm the aro? I think providing a little more info is needed before any should give you their opinion on this.

Is safe to mix aros with koi about the same size not small koi or they will end up as feeders .

Koi need colder water... to live a long healthy life... where as the arowana needs warm water temps..so i would not mix them..also pond temps flutuate too much for an arow.. it would be risky.

iv seen sum MFK member had 7-8 chili red and 1 XB with like 20 kois all around same size in a pond

thanks alot guys, I live in a tropical country, and the temperature here are constant through out the year, we only have either summer or raining seasons, that is all, I would still give it a go putting the aro together with the KOI, but I'll keep an eye on it,
