So I just recently moved my arowana to another temporary tank for 3-5 days and I noticed something that I haven't seen (or maybe did not look close enough).

There seems to be like a mole type thingy between his/her barbels. It's like a little raised bump that's a dark color. Look at this picture (not mine), but it is similar to it, bigger and more rounder like a mole on someone's face or something (lol). http://www.cordodor.net/chris/pics/fish/04012003/IMAGE010.jpg That's where the location is, right in between the two barbels

Is that normal? I know it seems like a silly question, but yeah.

I change my water at least once a week, twice if I have nothing else to do. Using FLuval 405 as filtration. Only eats pellets. Approximately 12 inches long.

I hope it's normal :) Thanks!

you can't see between the barbels in that pic.. anyway, looks like your guy is starting to develop drop eye. throw a ping pong ball in there to keep him looking up

Even though it's not the picture of my fish, but it is starting to have DE on ONE of its eye :(. But yeah, is there a lump or something on your Aro?

im thinking that your aro rammed it barbels on the tank so its bruised but get better pictures
