ive had a couple arows in the past and they always stayed at the top. i recently sold my 180 and put up a 265 yesterday. i then moved my 10 inch arow into the tank were he seems to stay about a inch off the bottom of the tank. he eats good and everything so i was just wandering if this was normal for a smaller arow or what your thoughts are on why he prefers to stay middle tank or below.

They should be always be on the top. Sometimes the water is to cold they will go down or some other fish that is on top intimidating them.
never done a huge tank move, but Aros get uncomfortable easily, so the new tank environment may be throwing it off. Give it a couple days Im sure it will go back to patrolling the top of the water
