hi i recently bought a silver arowana its roughly 6 inches in length..
i bought it from a lfs a couple days ago and put it in my tank... it seemed fine at first for 2 days and last night i bought it some guppies, some shrimp and some arrowana sticks..
it ate a guppie and seemed fine then today i got home and it just seems to be floating around behind the filter and heater and seems quite lifeless...
the colour etc seems fine and looks healthy just its not doing much
its in the tank with around 15 mollies and 4 guppies and the mollies keep pecking at its fins and body when stationary

iv turned the heater up to 32 (was on 28 befor) the water is clear from only having a water change a few days ago and the filter and air pump are both ariating the tank so its well ariated

iv looked about on the internet and havnt really found much... anyone got any ideas quick please?

any help greatly appreciated, jack

I would remove the mollies if they are pecking, they will just cause more stress on your arow, if water conditions are good and you remove the mollies and the arows still acting like this people may have an idea of what it is but am no professional on this. I also know arowana at this size can be very fragile. Gope some one has some better info for you.

how big is the tank? why are there 15 mollies in there? the results of your water tests are? how long did you QT him? what is your normal water change schedule? how long has the tank been setup? etc.
