My silver is in 180g with 11Acarichthys heckelii and 3 altafrons all of them are eating well. Except for my arow he had not eaten for goin on a week now, he is swimming low and some what skiditish towards him self ie: chomping his jaws, or tail biting. I changed the water havent added any medication yet. He is close to 20 but dosent have enough meat on him to be starving like this anyone possibly have suggestions. His colour is normal and nothing physical i can see wrong the thing that i dont like if the lack of hight in his swimming and somewhat relaxed movement
Thanks

How long has your silver been in that tank? If just recently... it will need time to adjust to the new home. But also have you changed any decorations or taken any fish out recently? That could be another reasons.

Its in 180g, no I have had him in there for a good 8, 9 months. I havent changed any decor in the tank. When I get home ill raise the temp I just wont want to start adding medication because half the time i just dont trust it. Ill check the water paramiters n see if anythign is up.
Thanks

Yeah... don't put in any meds just yet, try to avoid it as much as possible. Hopefully you find out whats wrong... and hopefully its just temporary.. GL!!

it sounds like your aro is stressed out, you should probably get your water parameters checked out at your LFS

I would agree on checking water params, but if you are keeping a large aquarium such as this you need to be able to test your own water parameters.
