Here's a vid of my arowana all excited for its pellets
It eats about 20 pellets a day
Also steals the Cihlid pellets
I also feed it market shrimp once a week and crickets and mealworms on occasion
Wondering why it's been lately jumping at me and trying to eat my hand when I try to put in its pellets it's been really wild during feeding now instead of being timid when it was smaller. It nearly leapt out the lid one time when I was throwing into pellets
Should I fill the water level lower or higher or what I have now?

I think naturally arowana will leave the water to feed on flying insects and birds, there are even reports of them snatching monkeys from low hanging branches.

They are made for jumping, and and surface feeding. Even small they can put their bodies in a S-shape for spring action lol. Thats why someone should start designing Aro proof aquariums for the home aquarist.
