Arowana Pellets as main diet?

I currenctly have a new aro which seems to love arowana pellets.
It takes pellets like sw. I'm planning to make its main diet pellets and just feed mp as treat, current practice is to feed him pellets, then after he ffinishes all his pellets, I'll drop some mp.

what would be a good practice? would it be better to feed pellets and just feed mp on weekends? or feed both daily?
Also any idea on growth rate of aro fed with mainly pellets? which would be healthier for the aro?

Nothing wrong with feeding mostly just pellets, though you will find once your aro gets larger it will take more then just pellets to fill it's belly.

Not sure on growth rate, will depend on how many pellets it eats daily.

My aro eats pellets but since he has reached the two foot mark he really eats a lot. So I give him white bait every couple days

if those numbers are from 3-4 meals every day its good but for sure..don stay up to pellets.

Nothing wrong with an all pellet diet for your new Arowana, since pellets have been developed especially for Arowana and other top feeding carnivorous fish. When I got my RTG, I was told to only feed it pellets and nothing else, not even super worms, and it makes sense because Arowana are picky eaters and if you constantly fed them live foods in hopes of bulking them up, they wouldn't want to eat any other foods like pellets.

you are so lucky, none of my aros eats pellets...

frogs are the best for bulking up, but dont feed them to small aros.

wish frogs were easy to get here
