Hi!

I have bought 4 super red arowanas about 30cm, i live in Europe. I want them to eat pellets, one of them already takes pellets and seems to like it alot. The rest 3 wont eat it.

So my question is should i keep feeding the one that eats pellets 2-3 times a day and the rest will learn / eat when they are hungry enough or should i starve them all like for a week and then try ?

some people say you should offer them pellets 2-3 times a day and eventually they will take it, and some say you starve them and then try.

Any advise ?

Thanks

I would offer the pellets. Let the one that eats eat. After a little while take any leftovers out and let the rest starve. When I train my aro's on pellets I offer them pellets everyday. I let it float for five minutes and if they won't eat it I scoop it out. They starve anyways if they don't eat the pellets. I guess if you'd like you can starve them all for a few days. They are pretty big. Biggest thing is to be consistent and ONLY feed pellets. Offer them pellets whenever. Just nothing else till they eat the pellets.
