I'm new to the site, first post here.
I'm planning a tank for a couple of silver Aro's. Tank will be 84"x30"x30" out of acrylic with black back and sides. I'm unsure on substrate and filtration. I'm either thinking 3 Eheim 2217 canisters and rotating the maintenance or a big wet-dry sump. I like the filtration the Eheims would provide but would rather not see all of those green tubes in the tank.

Do a wet/dry and canister set up. Works like a charm.

You can also paint your eheim tubes black.
