Arowana Ponds

I know there are many people that has arowanas jump out their tanks but how about all the people with arowana ponds????? Something im wondering about do the pond keepers cover up the top when your not around or what???

it would be advisable to cover the pond if the walls are not that tall enough with a plactic screen or some what...

The do jump out of ponds.
The fish will try to get back to the water though, so if the sides of the pond are sloping the aro has a good change to get back in.

I had an arowana pond for quite a while, and before I built a greenhouse around it I lost at least 3 or 4 big arowana- it looks so much nicer without a cover, but it looks so much worse with the arowana next to the pond

im going to build this sort of thing but have a veiwing window below and a bridge over top, well that is the dream anyway
i would probably put some netting over the pond though cause ive seen it on others
