Arowana Price and Availability

Hey guys. I just had a few quick questions about a arowana. My LFS quiet fequently carries 6-8" silver arows for 50 bucks. I was just wondering if this was a good price and if I should jump on it. I think it would make a fine addition to my large predator tank. Thanks for info.

seems a little high and that 55gal is no where near close enough to house a silver. they will need atleast 250gallon....

That is an OK price. It all really depends on the area you come from. Here in MI, one that size would cost about $20. It also comes down to how much you are willing to pay for one.

yes it is to small but it would be a good tank for a couple years...and better than someone sayin a 180gallon..

Your 55 is way way overstocked as it is....no way you can add an aro. It will out grow that tank in a month or two. And besides the cichlids you have in the tank would bully the aro to death.

i knwo i have three times more fish now then it says i will go erase the old now... wait till i get my 370 all glass tank it will be sweet and then soon the 5000 will be done i jsut put i on hold for awhile but its mostly done just been to busy.....
