no body wants to contribute to this thread? :( so sad

If you really want the aro than its a good price. I seen 7 inch silvers for 150 at my lfs yesterday. They looked really nice, I thought they were overpriced but if i wanted a silver i would buy it

You would need to include considerations for regioanl markets. A arowana in SoCal will likely be far less then North Platte, Nebraska. Also what about internet suppliers?

i meant to say for socal since ive seen so many different prices & most of the time really over priced...

My LFS have the 12" blacks for $199. My friend picked one up. I was going to order one for him from Rapps but the shipping would have brought it much higher for a smaller fish.

im thinking about getting a 12-13" blue aro from online but i dont know if its worth the price... 280 + shipping kinda hefty...but then again it is a blue aro... & i rlly want it...lol hence the thread for price comparison :)

If you want it now and can afford the price, who is to say that you overpaid? Do you want to keep looking to possibly get a smaller one for say 50-100 bucks less? When it comes down to the aros life his initial price is nothing compared to his lifelong upkeep. You could save more money by making smart food choices during its lifetime than saving a few bucks off the purchase price/
