arowana problem

hello i have an silver arowana for about 3 months about 8 inches last week when i did a water change he go really skittish now he hides under the filter all day does not eat anything. at nights get active. he does not eat anything but a little bit of shrimp. he used to eat everything before like pellets. iam really pissed off. now when someone comes near the tank he goes all crazy.

That is because no one was looking at it before so it is afraid now.

Sorry I'd like to give advice on this, I just wonder how you did a water change last week if you just arrived in srilanka yesterday.

If the water parameters are good, then it may just be he got spooked and it'll take awhile for him to get over it. I have found floating plants to be very helpful for making arowana feel secure. He'll eat more once he gains back the feeling of security.

55gal, 9'x3', 9'x4', 12'x10', 12'x12', 7'x3' or some other new unsaid dimension. We are not really sure he has said many different dimensions.

okay his in a 55 gallon because he is small and secondly the guy who looked after it said it was active and eating until he did a water change
