I have a 90g tank atm. My question is, if I get a juvenile arow how long will it be before he needs to be moved to something larger? Thnx

Depends on the dimensions of the 90g.

Silvers grow fast about 1-1.5" per month. One of my silvers that I raised from 2.5" was a slow grower and after a year it was only 14". But another member (sbuse) had his 3" silver grow to 24" in less then a year, these two examples are likely extremes. If your 90g has a 48x18" footprint and starting with a 5"er, I would say that in 6-8 months you'd better have the bigger tank ready to go.

Yup, its a 48x18. Thanks for the info man i appreciate it.:)

well they grow roughly 1-2 inches a month and yours is the same demensions as mine so it couldnt stay in there pst being 12-14 inches depending on how fast you can get the tank set up, what kind of arow are you thinking of getting?

I had silvers that reached 24" within a year. Some reaching 18" in a year. Current Silvers I have grown from 10" to 20" within 3.5 months.
