I have a silver arowana just over 8" in a nice tank. The problem is that where I keep my fish I am going to be doing some work so I need to move all my fish to a different place. Most of my fish I can put in a different place but for my arowana, two oscars and my pacu I need to put the somewhere else. I have this 12' diameter swimming pool that is not in use right now so why not there. My main question is if I put them in the pool will they get along? The oscars are both about 4.5" and the pacu is 6" and extremely shy. I have already put my arowana in the pool and he seems to be doing great. This setup is only temporary until the work on my 'fish room' is done. I would love to hear the advice of all of you experts on how you think this will work out.

Is the top of the pool covered. Tankmates may harass the arowana causing it to jump.

Hope and luck are not very reliable tools in fishkeeping. An 8" arowana can easily jump 2 feet.
