Recently bought a 120 tank is 4x2x2 can I do an arowana or maybe a jardini arowana in it for a good while? I'm looking for a pretty good sized fish to put in it . Running fx5 filter and might throw on a emperor bio wheel

IMO an arowana will be too big for that tank.

You'll need to almost double that to at least 8x3x2.5.
I have a 500g 12' and my silver us stating to look cramped in it. Aro's will grow at least 1" per month.

I agree with the above. I got my silver at about 4 inches and he lasted about 5 months in my 4X18X22. He is in my 250 now and even that isn't going to last forever.

For a tank that size, I would do some frontosa. They look great, get a decent size, and should be able to stay there for life.
