ive been researching arowanas on the internet but the info on the internet is all so different, for example one site says minumum tank size for aro is 135 gallons another says 1125, so im looking for some info from people whove kept or have arowanas. i was wondering if one would do well in a 250or300 gallon tank. i know i propably couldnt fit a silver but what about a jardini? and if i got a jardini wat could i keep it with? any infos appreciated

check out the stickys at the top of the arowana forums and welcome :)

He's looking for info on Aussies guys:)

A lot of Delgados sticky covers the basic care for a jardini, but tankmates and growth are different.

He stated that he didn't think a silver could fit in a 250-300 for life, which it can. Just thought I'd point it out to him, so that he doesn't limit himself because he doesn't want to house his arowana in a cramped space. I know I would rather have all the facts before I jumped into such a big investment of time, and care. :D

LOL, good call dudes.:)

neon, after you check those 2 stickys we can answer any other questions you might have.

thanks guys, i got all the info i need. now that i know that a silver can fit in a 250 or 300 im gonna get a silver in a 300 96''-30''-25''.
