arowana scale

Hi guys,

I have an arowana which has one scale without shine and is sticking out like a sore thumb ever since i got it in february. Upon purchase i was hoping the shine wld come out but i guess it's not happening. Was thinking to remove the scale in hope that a new one would have some shine on it. Anyone knows whether that is a good idea? Or whether it is basically genetic and the new scale that comes out will be without shine too? Thanks in advance!

I just makes your aro more unique IMO do not risk hurting the fish by removing a scale

Can u take a pic ....leave it if its a lose scale the new one will replace it and the old scale will fall off

i had a fish that had scales sticking out from an injury. It just healed in a few days.

hmm it's not a loose scale, it's perfectly fine like any other scale, just without shine. Dull grey.
