Arowana Sensitivities

I'm healing up another fish in my tank. I'm using Malefix and Salt.

Just wondering if Silver Arows have any sensitivities to these things that i should know about.

Or any other sensitivites that i didnt mention? Just to add to my list of important things to remember

I'm no expert on aro's as I am currently treating my first and only aro for ich, but I did use 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons of water and its been well over a week since the introduction of salt and he/she is doing much better. So to answer your question to the best of my knowledge they are tollerant of salt, as for melafix I dont believe it could do your fish any harm...

i've always used melafix and salt on my aro's. never had any problems.

i'm healing a rescue fish. A tinfoil barb with a lot of missing scales and torn fins.

Yeah, I've used melafix and ick meds and had no problem. Just make sure you don't have loaches in there as they are sensitive to meds.
