I have a 17" silver arowana and a 9" male motoro and I have noticed some aggression from the arowana in the past week or so. The ray will be swimming up the tank walls or just swimming along the bottom and my arowana will nip at him. Sometimes the ray freaks and flys to the other side of the tank sometimes he doesn't even flinch.
I am very confused I have never heard of an arowana showing aggression towards a ray before and found nothing in my search. I was wondering if you guys would give me some advice on this. I started feeding my arowana more but have not noticed a difference in aggression there is no consistency either with the "attacks" on my ray.
