arowana stock advice

tank size 8x3x2 lxbxh
1) I am planning on getting 1-2 Asian Arowana I've read they should be kept in a group of 6+ or solo what are peoples personal experiences on this. Obviously 6+ wont happen in that size of tank
but 1-2?

2) The current incumbents of the tanks are Severum`s , silver dollar`s and clown barb`s. The first two I am not worried about being compatible , It`s just the clown barbs as they are 6", big enough and probably worth chasing down for a meal ? anyone with any experience with arros and this size of fish. hoping they are compatible as trying to catch them is *!* imposable!

Just keep one Asian arowana. 90%+ of the time 2 will not work.

The clown barbs could get eaten when your aro is large. They would most likely be eaten at night.

Don't keep two, or you will soon have one dead aro.

Six or more, preferably more, can only be kept in large ponds or absolutely massive tanks.

Best alternative would be to get some compatible tank mates. I prefer datnoids.
