Arowana surgery last night

Had some family over and my nephew came into the fish room was looking at my arowana tank and flicked a pice of plastic egg crate into the tank on accident. Sure enough my aro gobbles it up. I had to catch him and lay him out on a table and get it out. Not very fun

Nice job saving him! My nephew threw a bouncy ball but its very large into my main community tank. They loved it and move it constantly. I'm just happy it didn't shatter my lights and went into my tank instead

How big was the piece and how did you retrieve it?

It's stuff like that makes me paranoid when kids are near including my own lol.

That was actually an extraction.....not surgery

It was about 1 inch by 2.5 inches and needle nose plyers lol
