my aro looks as if he has an itchy fin or something because every once in a while he will rapidly swim, and scrape the side of his body on the drift wood i have in my tank.. wondering if he has parasites?? or something in his gills?????

Hi.. Could you please put up a pic of your setup.. and some close shots of your aro.. could you also give us tank size, water parameters, tankmates please.. how big is the aro?
I'm assuming if you own an Arowana you know how to recognise and treat Ich, which is what it sounds like.... but without more info it's a bit tricky to help.
A good start would be raising the temp and start dosing with salt... but again, without more info this could kill tank mates.
