So I have started a new planted tank in my room. It's current stocking is 4 Koi Swordtails and Koi Betta. I had originally bought 8 Koi Swordtails but 5 of them turned out to be males. Having said this, I decided to feed the extra males to my Arowana. All the fish have been quarantined in the new tank for about 3 weeks. The tank cycled pretty quick because I used old media from my Arowana tank. Now I've had the 4 Swordtails with my Arowana for about a week. He doesn't even notice them. He still eats though, pellets and superworms. There IS some hiding spots, but not too much. Not enough so that the Aro can't get to the Swordtails anyways. If they do end up co-existing peacefully, I'm considering adding some more peaceful fish. If they get eaten, they get eatened lol.
