Arowana tank mate?

Hope anyone can give some advice about this.
I got one 18 inch silver Aro, and I'm thinking put my 6 inch baby gar into Aro tank. Only think that I am worry is the baby gar will be come the Aro snack. Any one have experience?

I only feed it frozen prawn all the time. Only when I first got it been feeding live food. 4 guppy only.

I wouldn't recommend it at that size,not sure if silver's are as bad as Asians are relating to gars,how big is the tank?
And nice to see yet another ukmfker too.

Why dont you try to put in and observe? If Aro shows aggressiveness or try to eat the little fella, remove it immediately!!!

I have tried to put in my Endi ~ 2 - 3" with my 10" Asian Aro before, nothing happens.. Nv try, nv know..

My tank is only 4foot long by 15inch front to back and 18inch tall. I only put 168L water in.
At the moment the gar is in a 80L tank on it own. I will have to going away in Feb, so before that I will have to put it in that 4 foot tank, so people who look after them will be a bit easier.
My another idea is put a sheet of acrylic with a lot of hole on in the middle to keep them a part. So what do you think?

If you do that then your arowana wont even be able to swim. Your tank is too small.
