Hi, can anyone tell me what fish can live with my arowana.. Looking to get a few diff species to live together..
Tank size is 5 x 2 x 2 f .. Cheers :)

i'd look for bottom dwellers...with that dimension there's not much room for a tank mate especially middle dwelling and active fish.

hi.. i'm assuming its a silver aro.. what size is the aro btw? if the aro is small.. 4" to 6".. its best to keep the aro by itself till about 12".. though they look big and sometimes aggressive.. they get spooked easily.. generally.. i try to keep other SA species with them.. but there are others who have fish from other regions.. i've had a BGK with my aro.. now there are oscars, jaguars, a red devil, a midas and a red tailed catfish.. the rule is.. if the other fish can fit in its mouth then forget about it.. i hope you have read about aros before the purchase.. do have a read at the stickies.. they contain a lot of info about aro keeping.. all the best.. cheers..

i would suggest you not to add any tankmate because of inadequate space..let the aro be all by himself in that tank setup.

you rilly should not have an arrow in that small of a tank sooner or later it will out grow you should be looking for a new tank if you want to put other large tankmate's.:headbang2:popcorn::ROFL:

Really? You should learn how to spell, and use of proper grammar before ever posting again. Maybe find out a little more info before post piss poor advise. No reason that an arowana could not be grown out in this sized tank.

bichirs ,gars, tiger/dats or catfishes would be nice tankmates as long as keep the size 70% smaller than the aro
