hes 8 or 9 inches in a 10 gallon? he really shouldent even be in a 10 gallon i dont really have an experience with arowanas but im pretty sure he should be in a 55 or 60 gallon already

i say when hes 12ins put him in the 100

A fully sized and mature arowona should be kept in a tank over 200 gallons. You might what to upgrade really soon.

I think the min size for an arowana tank should be 4x2x2 feet. Just remember that the width of the tank has to be longer than the length of the fish so that they can move about easily.

a silver can grow up to 2+ ft to 3ft in size... so at least u need at least 200g and above tank.

i was growing one out in a 30g, when he got to about 6 inches or so he seemed to be getting stressed, so i put him in a 75 that i was cycling just for him, and he seemed so relieved, now im just waiting to move him into my 125, and then next march into something bigger probably a 200 or more if i can get or most likely build one. hes only about 9 inches now.
